• Pairing Code: Used to connect the scanner to your PassLoop merchant account
• API URL: Your PassLoop backend server address
• Organization Name: Display name for your business (stored locally on device)

Automatically Collected Information

• Scanned Pass Data: Validation tokens from QR codes or NFC tags (not stored, only transmitted for validation)
• Device Information: Basic device info for API compatibility (Android version, app version)

Camera and NFC Permissions

• Camera: Required for QR code scanning. We do not store or transmit camera images.
• NFC: Optional for NFC tag scanning. We do not store NFC tag data.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Authenticate your scanner with your PassLoop merchant account
• Validate digital wallet passes in real-time
• Send validation notifications to your PassLoop dashboard
• Provide scanner functionality

Data Storage

• Local Storage Only: Pairing codes and settings are stored only on your device
• No Cloud Backup: Scanner data is not backed up to cloud services

• Delete App: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
